Although this is still at the level of rumours, several sources (including reports published today on Curbed.com) indicate that 99 Gold Street in DUMBO is being converted to a rental property.
Indirectly confirming this, the official site was reduced to an
ambiguous "coming soon" splash page. The developer marketing company's
web site has a similarly ambiguous "open house canceled" announcement next
to the list of units available for sale.
No word on whether this conversion will change any previously announced amenities or finishes.
