The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) greenlights a consulting project to develop the Financial District and and Seaport Climate Resilience Master Plan. This low-lying but crucial area is one of the most vulnerable to flooding in NYC. One of the measures may involve building an elevated waterfront. Arcadis, a Netherlands-based design and engineering firm, will lead a team of 18 consultants.
