Fresh Meadows

Location: Central Queens

Character: Measuring a little over a square mile, this neighborhood started forming in the mid-20th century, growing around a namesake housing development built after the 2nd World War.

Demographics: According to the recent census data, Fresh Meadows has approximately 16,000 residents (44% are white, 30% Asian, 14% black, 8% Hispanic and 3% describe themselves as multiracial).

Apartments & Real Estate

Although most houses in the neighborhood are detached, there are streets lined with attached row houses as well.
