Scandinavia House

Scandinavia House

Murray Hill. Scandinavia House (56 Park Avenue, between 37th and 38th streets) is the cultural center of the Scandinavian countries (plus Finland, which for all intents and purposes is often considered part of the same group) in New York: it organizes concerts, screenings and exhibitions. The ground floor also has an unusual museum shop and a café serving excellent nordic lunches. If you're in the neighborhood at lunchtime, stop by and try their Swedish meatballs, for example.

The building was constructed in 2000.
