Little Italy. Center Street.

Little Italy. Walking down Center St. The building with the sculpture at the top stands near the entrance to Brooklyn Bridge. The reddish-brown no-windows facility you can sort of make out in the middle (just below Canal St, on the left) is a downtown detention center nicknamed "The Tombs". Frankly, I hope to never see what it looks like inside.
