Flatiron District. 20th street between Fifth Avenue and Broadway. If you can see the banner with a big "T" in the middle of the block, on the northern (left) side of the street (frankly, I can barely see it myself), then you know where to find "The T Salon" - a very good place to have tea English-style. Unfortunately, very few straight men ever attempt this (I never quite understood why), so it can be a bit intimidating. Fortunately, if you are one who is willing to take the plunge, you won't have any competition inside. Your only worry is likely to be avoiding the inevitable attention of several groups of playful 50-year-old ladies.
