The Dakota Apartment Building (view from Central Park West)

Upper West Side. The Dakota Apartment Building on the corner of West 72nd and Central Park West, where John Lennon lived during the last few years of his life. He was killed on December 8th, 1980 in front of the building's entrance. His widow, Yoko Ono still has an apartment here.
