Downtown Express reports on the apparent discrepancies between the actual architectural parameters of The Fairchild condo (415 Washington or 55 Vestry), and those negotiated with the Landmark Preservation Commission in 2006, when the project was approved. The project saw the architects change during construction, which could be one of the factors in this.
The Fairchild is located in the Tribeca North Historic District. The L.P.C. will hear the case next month.
