LOCATION

Central Harlem is located in Upper Manhattan, between 110th and 155th streets. Its western boundary below 123rd is demarcated with two parks - Morningside Park (separating Central Harlem from Morningside Heights / Columbia University Area) and St.Nicholas Park (separating it from West Harlem/City College Area). Above 123rd, the western border is St Nicolas Avenue. Central Harlem's eastern border falls somewhere between Park and Fifth Avenues.

TRANSPORTATION AND ACCESSIBILITY

The A, B, C and D, as well as the number 2 and 3 subway lines. The A train runs express from West 125th Street to Midtown (in about 10 minutes). The No. 3 train runs locally from 148th Street to 96th Street, then express to Midtown. Buses: the M60 bus runs eastward along 125th Street to Astoria and La Guardia Airport and westward to West Harlem and Morningside Heights.
